Tim Wingrove is the founder and Managing Director of Red Sea Executive Search. He has been working in INGO search at Executive level for the last 10 years, and has recruited across Africa, Asia, Europe and the America’s. Clients include the likes of Oxfam International, Amnesty International, Plan International, WWF, Gain, Care International, ActionAid International, Practical Action, Sightsavers, Tearfund, Marie Stopes, WaterAid, Medair. Gareth has an extensive background in recruitment going back 20 years and working in several different sectors from Pepsico and G4S to the NHS and the care home industry. For the past 5 and a half years, he has led global resourcing for Plan International and Marie Stopes International, sourcing senior candidates from all over the world, including Country and Regional Directors, Chief of Parties and Executive Team members. Gareth has a BA in Law from Aberystwyth University and originally qualified as a barrister before changing direction to recruitment.
Wadzi is a consultant at Red Sea Search primarily covering the Africa region. Prior to joining Red Sea, she was a Vice President at Greenoaks, a London based emerging markets private equity firm. Here, she led global human capital and was responsible for leading human resources strategy across the firm and its portfolio companies in the United States, South Asia and Africa. She also led the recruitment of management teams. Wadzi was previously the Director of Human Capital at African Leadership Academy, where she led global recruitment, and a policy officer in the Department of Treasury. She holds an MBA from INSEAD, and undergraduate degrees in Finance and Science from the University of Western Australia.
Javier has worked in global development and humanitarian operations for more than 15 years, primarily for Oxfam Spain and Oxfam International. He has worked in more than 20 countries in Africa and Latin America, resourcing talent, fostering leadership and developing organizational and individual capacity. Career Coach and Associated Professor at the Deusto University in International Careers. Javier holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science & International Relations, with a specialization in peace and conflict management, from Uppsala University in Sweden. Based currently in Barcelona, Javier is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
Sheerin brings her ethos of creating value for partners, experience in international development and humanitarian relief and cultural understanding of the Middle East and North Africa to our executive search services in this region. With 15 years of experience in communications, corporate responsibility, fundraising and philanthropy, Sheerin has worked for corporate communication agencies, international and intergovernmental organisations in the United Kingdom and Middle East. After beginning her career in London at Grey Communications Sheerin moved to Dubai, United Arab Emirates and joined MSL Group where she led brand communications and corporate responsibility for a leading multi-national consumer goods client. She then followed her passion and transitioned into non-profit work, initially consulting for the UNICEF Gulf Area Office. Her next role was at SOS Children’s Villages International, Gulf Area Office, where she led private fundraising and partnerships for the organisation. A UK national with Middle Eastern roots, Sheerin is fluent in English and Farsi and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom.
Laura is a global health policy, programs and public-private partnerships professional with broad industry, governmental and non governmental sector experience in the US and abroad. She began her healthcare career with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta before landing at the Harvard School of Public Health and later, the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva where where she managed global partnership initiatives. Since 2005, Laura has consulted for the private sector with a focus on philanthropy, corporate social responsibility, and global governmental affairs.
Melissa has 15 years administrative/ Executive Assistance experience across various sectors, four years of which have been spent in the NGO sector. Melissa is currently the Operations Manager for Red Sea Search and oversees the administrative functioning and coordination of logistics with clients, candidates and interview preparations. She has experience coordinating logistics throughout various countries and over all time zones. She has worked with large NGOs like Oxfam International, WaterAid and ActionAid to name a few. Melissa is currently completing a degree in Business Administration and following her passion of working in the NGO sector. Melissa is based in South Africa and is fluent in English and Afrikaans languages.
Jenny Bennett is a recruitment and HR professional with over a decade of experience across the NGO, public and private sector. She has recruited for WWF-UK and the National Trust and had the responsibility for running the recruitment project for the South Downs National Park during its set up. Jenny is a HR generalist with experience across the full employee lifecycle and is dedicated to creating HR workspaces that encourage positive relations and foster open communication between employer and employee. At Red Sea Executive Search Jenny has responsibility for overseeing our safeguarding, referencing and HR processes to ensure we maintain our reputation as responsible recruiters. Outside of work Jenny has an active interest in equal rights and marine conservation.

Laura loves the fact that the Director Tim and Red Sea Search is a humanitarian, philanthropy type organisation which helps and cares for the world and its people. Laura has 30 year’s administrative experience in various fields and has a flair for administration, Public Relations and communications. She is enthusiastic, passionate, professional, diligent, conscientious and meticulous in everything that she does. Laura is based in South Africa.
