We are looking for a Principal Consultant for the Africa Region to join our executive search team, working in International Development and Philanthropy. You will be responsible for Executive Search in Africa, working with the other Principal Consultants in their regions. Our consultants are based in: Washington, Istanbul, Barcelona and London, and with our team in South Africa.
The work can be virtual/ remote based and involves client management and candidate research in International Development and Philanthropy. It will be a chance for someone to network and work within INGOs and the UN agencies and be involved in a start-up venture, initially as a freelance consultant. We already have client relationships in Africa which you will be given access to, along with building relationships with new clients.

About the Role
We need intelligent self-starters who are passionate about the development sector and interested in trends and changes across our world in civil society. We are flexible on working hours– for this role we are looking an African national and for someone who has Senior HR experience in INGOs and/or intergovernmental bodies in Africa, or someone who has previous search experience at Executive level in Africa.
We will also consider African industry candidates with International Relations, International Development or Public Health degrees, who are able to work at International levels with African leaders in the INGO, bi-lateral and multi-lateral markets.
You will be an excellent communicator, with strong client management skills, and align with our values: Integrity, honesty and transparency, with an interest in the global market and a keen interest in International Development and Philanthropy, reflected in your working history.
Preferred locations: Nairobi, Kenya:: other countries in Africa considered.
